Sorry, double post time folks but been without sky+ for nearly a week watching freeview so it's been stuck on E4 and have to say big bang theory is * brilliant. HIMYM was alright, loved the middle name thing but big bang is now top of the sky linky thing on my return.

I have only got into Big Bang in the last three weeks and HIMYM in the last week - and I agree. Box sets from the beginning for Christmas I think.

Sheldon is one of the best characters TV has ever produced I think.

I agree, Big Bang Theory is brilliant, I love it. Sheldon is a great character.

HIMYM is ok, but nothing like as good as BBT.

They've both jumped the shark now. HIMYM could only go downhill after Girls vs Suits, and Big Bang has just turned into lazy comedy, making cheap gags about how Raj might be gay and Penny's stupidity. They have the potential to be so much better but they just take the easy route. I love Mayim Bialik and read her blog, and sometimes it surprises me that she's involved with it given some of the gags they make. She even broke her pledge of tzinus to wear the short Star Trek dress.

Yeah, it's £75 a month which may not seem much, but I'm pretty low paid so that'll make a big difference. I'm thinking of just gritting my teeth and paying the lot off next payday - I'll be stony broke for a month, but it might be worth it to be better off as Christmas approaches.
