I had exactly the same situation on my iPhone so also had to wait until this morning!

Actually Play.com doesn't work on my phone (Android) at all - it just shuts the browser down. I had to fire up my PC to do it.

You should install Dolphin Browser HD...its much better, or Google Chrome. The default browser is rubbish
