Any Trek fans on here?

Saw the film randomly this afternoon, I didn't have anything better to do so I thought I'd go and see it.

A bit slow to start with, but the action sequences towards the end were excellent. A bit of a twist at the end, but I can't help thinking that it was just a remake of 'The Wrath of Kahn' that featured the crew of the Next Generation.

All in all very good though, not the best, nowhere near as good as First Contact, but still very much worth seeing.

i already said i saw it. it was depressing and they're all fat. the end was the only redeeming feature... i hope the next one isn't "search for..."

I'm seeing it tommorow and Patrick Stewart is hardly fat.

patrick stewart is the only one who hasn't seemed to age or get jouly, but then again he was old when the show began. brent spiner, jonathan frakes, michael dorn, levar burton all have gotten fatter. (data getting fat? is that possible?) and gates mcfadden and marina sirtis TOTALLY showed their age. man... it was sick.

Enterprise and Deep Space nine is Star Trek and Red Dwarf is a comedy so it's hardly geeky.

As for Smallville lets not get into that cheap crap.
