Ew! I couldn't do it, I just couldn't... I know people who have had it done and swear by it, but honestly, i'm too squeemish to do something like that.

I've actually met Chris n shook his hand. This fact is still causing slight issues in my trouser dept.... :wink:

I'd do it as I'm not remotely squeamish, but I like wearing glasses. I'm even wearing mine in my Twitter and Facebook profile pics. But then I only need them sometimes and they're a pretty weak prescription - maybe if I'd needed milk bottle thickness lenses since childhood I'd feel differently

I would like to get it done at some point, glasses are a pain, especially when cooking, playing sport, and getting it on down below with Mrs B.

A friend of mine just had his eyes done too and said the exact same thing about the burning. He said the smell is like when you over straighten your hair

It's more like when you lean over a birthday cake and your hair catches fire...

Oh I'm debating having my eyes lasered...The description of the procedure is kind of putting me off though.

Grit your teeth and remember it gets better in a minute. Same for getting your eyes lasered...

Something similar happened here over the weekend. Apparently some guy stole a car or something and then went and climbed up on a roof. The police were just standing around waiting for him to come down.
