Just remembered that I played pool with a satanist last night. Really should go out on a Friday more often.
Had a good night last night. We lost the pub quiz but had my hair plaited by a viking.

Never been a Murray fan until this year's Wimbledon. He HAS changed, there is something different - he does interesting interviews where he talks intelligently about tennis, as though he is actually interested and excited to do so. He goes on court and looks like he wants to be there. He digs in when things are going badly and thinks his way out of problems rather than sulking and throwing hissy fits and effectively giving up.
His body language has changed. He has, in short, become a player to really respect, for more than just his ability. Surely his new coach, Ivan Lendl, must have something to do with this? Either way, after Wimbledon, where his effort and his belief and his desire were so obvious for the first time, he became a player I wanted to win things.
The Olympics was brilliant, he looked like he loved every minute of it which was SUCH a change, his apparent desire to be anywhere other than on a tennis court used to come across so strongly, and was one of the main reasons I didn't like him, and that's gone. Anyway, bloody well done Andy Murray.
Stuff about Thatcher....
You are a disgrace and I'm looking forward to when someone you respect dies so I can rub your liberal face in it.

Click, look, be happy.
I'm happy I'm moving out in less than 4 weeks for the first time. At the age of 25 (yes, I except some abuse at some point), I'm ready to pour my money, soul and life in London. Work is great and hoping to enjoy the many more women per square metre than where I'm currently living. This singleton needs his own space.

25 is pretty young these days though isn't it? I have friends who still have kids living at home a lot older than that - and I realise how lucky I am that my 20 and 23 year old have both gone - although the 23 year old only left last week, so there's still a chance his girlfriend will realise what a mistake she made and send him back.....
