Maybe they were meant to be empty since they had everyone or if not and there were no-shows, I find it a bit annoying with the fact that people who wanted to go couldn't because they didn't get a ticket yet people who did get one didn't show up whatsoever. I get that something could have happened last minute for a few but for the others, what's the point if you were not going to attend!

I don't think they were meant to be empty, they all had a signed picture on their seat.

I'm really disappointed by the empty seat. I would have flown to London to be part of it and so would others. We from the forum could have filled up those 3 rows without problems.

They had autographed pictures on the seats and the first raffle draw was from that section. See my earlier post. It seems like we have dupe posts and threads galore here, so I have no idea where that was. Probably in this thread.

My understanding is that far fewer VIPs (team family members and friends, radio 1 staff etc) could make it than was initially planned for. That accounts for the empty seats.

According to the chat room, quite a few people turned up this morning on spec and got in by begging. So there were even more no-shows than those two rows!

That's so upsetting to me. Almost wish I'd made the trip to London anyway just to claim one of the no-show's seats. - jc

Bumping this as there is one thing about the live show I have forgotten to mention so far... At the end as we were all filing out of the radio theatre, I spotted Chris Moyles (Snr) and (VIP) Vera, and congratulated both of them with a handshake exclaiming 'you must be so proud'.
