Today's Tedious Link:
MC Hammer, U Can't Touch This
Today's Transcript:
Sum 41 is what you get if you add 22 to 19. 19 was the average age of soldiers in the Vietnam war. Vietnam is a country in South East Asia where they like to eat a lot of noodles. 'Noodles' rhymes with 'doodles', which are what you might draw on your textbooks if you're bored in lessons. 'Lessons in Love' was a hit for Level 42, who are fronted by Mark King. Mark King shares the same surname as James king, who's the Radio 1 bloke who likes to watch movies. 'Movies' was a track by Alien Ant Farm, while The Farm had a hit with 'All Together Now'. 'Now' is an anagram of 'won', which is the opposite of lost, which is also a TV series set on a remote island. 'Islands In The Stream' was a duet by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. 'Dolly' rhymes with 'golly', which is what you might say of you'd just witnessed a miracle. A miracle is something that people pray for, and 'Pray' was a hit for MC Hammer, which links to MC Hammer and 'U Can't Touch This'.
Flaws:
Nothing to report.
Tedious Facts:
Released - June 1990
Highest UK Chart Position - #3
As with yesterday's Sum 41 track, Dave last linked to this record just over four months ago.
