Now I don't know if this will work written down but it can be quite telling and I didn't get it. If you know the answer and have heard it before please don't ruin it.

A young boy gets runover by a bus. He's rushed into hospital for immediate surgery. When he appears in the operating theatre the surgen looks at him and says "Oh no, thats my son!". But the surgen wasn't the boys father. Now what happened there?

Hmmm, thought it would be easier when you saw it in writing. My dad reckons he's asked loads of people and not one of them have got it right.

I'm sure I've heard it before, but I can't remember now. I give up.

I do agree when its in writing the important part sticks out more, when you hear it, more rushed and you try to think of something far more complex.

I've read it 10 times very slowly, but I still don't get it.

I know.

If a Boeing 747 registed in Germany was carrying 54 British Airways passengers, all carrying British passports, crashes on the border of American and Canada, where will they burry the survivours?

I know the answer to David's. That's much easier.

Going back to the first one, maybe the surgeon's wife had an affair and the boy is someone else's son but the surgeon doesn't know?

Your making it far more complicated than it actually is.

As for my one, I don't want what you think after your second read of it. Just what you say after your first read :)

Sidla, think very very simple. Its not like affairs, step-fathers, or anything too complexed.

And David, I never knew they would bury people alive, survivors, yes, I got it, lol.

A man falls overboard and gets washed ashore on an island with nothing but sand. The island is 50 miles from the nearest land. He can't swim, the water's 100 feet deep, and the island has nothing to make a floatation device with. With no help from people, animals, fish, or machines he finds a way off the island.

How does he do it?
