With the recent issues on the board it seems likely that someone soon will start talking about the "Good Old Days". In anticipation of this I have decided to bring back for a (possibly) one off special that all time favourite..... Gaspode's Accounting Facts. here we go....

Will accounting standards ever be complete?
Accounting standards need to keep abreast of changes in the law, business practice and users' expectations. Since these are constantly changing it is difficult to envisage a time when accounting standards will not need to change.
