Here's how to do it: user control panel>profile>edit account settings, and just type in your new one. It will ask you to choose a new password, but you can just add a
1 onto the end of your current one or something, it doesn't have to be completely different.

I think I turned it off when people were messing around with it.

Happy to turn it on if you all promise to behave.

I'd like it noted that I have only taken advantage of the setting being enabled in order to bring my username in line with Twitter and other places, not to abuse it... the rest of you are silly and I think Chris Harris should disable the setting and change your usernames to something obscure so you can't change it back.
