Anyway none of my business, but agreed it's not allot, and a fraction of what you could get managing a Lidl's!

I enjoy it sometimes. Probably not often enough anymore. But I refuse to do anything involving cold calling or commission, and most call centre jobs do these days. There is very little else around when you have no relevant experience or qualifications. I should add, its in my interest to keep my wages down for the next 2 years as my student loan will be written off at the end of that period. If I start earning above their threshold, I'll have to start paying it back and after 18 years of deferring, that just wouldn't make financial sense.

Well, it might - it depends if your wages would still be higher after the repayments have been taken into account, surely.

Well I am not sure Nic, but I would have thought a job in Nursing, Teaching, Local Council, Social Work, Accounting, Buyer at the Co-op, Food Technologist at the Co-op, Systems, Marketing etc could all pay over £30k a year, and if you have a degree and you interview well, I am sure you could get on with all those roles.

But, even though I have replied, I get that it's got absolutely * all to do with me. I Like the fact you have found a man, and got a great looking place to live, and are planning the months wages to get bits of furniture. I know your health's not been the best and I have no idea how that effects you, and your abilities to meet an employers expectations... So hey ho. Do feel for you though.

Well, my arthritis does affect some things - I couldn't do anything involving physical labour. For most desk jobs, it would only be an issue in as much as I might have a bit more time off than most other people, and maybe that I'm due a hip replacement (but not for a few years yet). I consider things like teaching, nursing and social work to be vocations, not just jobs - and they're certainly not my vocations. Bearing in mind I described in another post earlier how the news makes me cry, I think it's fairly obvious I'm not cut out for a career involving illness, hardship or death. And I failed maths GCSE, so accounting is definitely out! I'm not saying there's literally nothing else I could do except sell theatre tickets, but without substantial retraining or new qualifications, my options are a bit limited.

I have someone following me who has 3,047,684 followers and is following 327 people including moi.

That gives me a Twitter Famous Follower Boast factor of 9320. OK. Everyone else: GO!

But I did genuinely mean what I said as a joke that's why I found it made me smile slightly. But Deadly I genuinely meant what I said as a joke and for you to view it as one.
