Hello board!

I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is J.P. (it stands for Jonathan Paul) and I stumbled on this website not too long ago. I’ve had a bit of an infection for the past few weeks, so I have spent much time staying at home. While listening to BBC Radio Online, I caught Chris’ show. So for the past few weeks I have been listening to it and I find it really great. I almost feel better after all the laughing I had whilst listening to the ‘Best Bits’ on the Radio 1 site! :P

About me. Well, I was born and raised in Washington, DC, USA, and currently attend school there with a part time job on the side. I wish I could listen to Chris via a method other than the net (such as short-wave radio, FM, AM, et al.) but alas, that’s not available.

Anyways, just wanted to make this little thread so I didn’t seem too much of an outsider.

Thanks!

- JP :)

Hello...

So how did everyone start listening to Moyles? I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.

I started listening back in 98 because one day in the car I was flicking through the radio and I started listening to Moyles, and the rest as they say "was history".

My love of the moyles show started when one day we had a new bus and it had a radio on it and the driver had radio one on it. so there I am, my moyles story in a sentence.

One thing to say, moyles is complaining that he is loseing listening figures but at the rate of new members to the board then soon we shall have the entire listening audience of the show here.

I was doing some homework and had the radio on, and little did I know that I would be laughing more than I would be working. So thats when it started, not long after I started I remember Richard Blackwood doing a Monday show for some reason.

Hello, so many new people! If I ain't said hello to anyone else than consider this your own aswell.

I actually found this site before I started listening to Moyles! I was looking for info and I stumbled across here, thought that this Moyles bloke sounded interesting, listened to the show as a matter of intrest and have listened every opportunity I've had since.

I started listening to Mark n :ard and Moyles when I was a student - it's not like I was going to be in lectures that early in the day!!!

Now I don't get listen to either show, and that makes me sad. :(

Does ANYONE listen to short wave radio any more? I didn't think radio manufacturers even bothered making tuners that can pick up SW any more....
