I ddont see the point in director's commentaries. When I first got my DVD player I played it at first and was impressed for like a few seconds before the film started, but then promptly turned it off.

Haven't listened to the phoenix nights one, but (sorry kendra) all the american films that have it tend to be full of phrases like "I have never worked with [huge name] before, he's a marvellous man..."

the Phoenix nights one i think helps a lot as it points out lots of things you would relise

and most of the major actors are there so it feels as though your sat watching Phoenix nights with them

Never seen any Chubby Brown, but don't think much of the Basement Jaxx song, in the words of Simon Cowell it is 'distinctly average'. 'Jump and Shout' is quality though.
