I would agree I'm the same (southerner born and bred) however, there is this bloke down the pub who thinks your nationality is the same as your parents (swears blind he is welsh - if i was him i would be looking for all available excuses to cut my welsh ties, but there you go) which is bloody ridiculous, 'cos where would it start? you would have to go back to the apes

I used to go to Shell Island when I was in the Scouts, some great memories of the place, plus a rather unhappy memory of dropping 5 pints of lager at the bar and having to repay everyone out of my own pocket. A great place though, the fun you can have on the sand dunes is great. I've still got an areal photograph of the place at home somewhere, that I managed to aquire in my former job.

Actually yeah, I see what you mean.

I didn't mean that sort of fun on the sand dunes, just to clear that up for those with dirty minds.

That's not embarassing. I was in Scouts for years, followed by the Venture Scouts. I still go on camps with a group of friends who are also 'Venture Scouts' even though technically 'Venture' Scouts don't exist any more.

I did Rainbows, Brownies and about a year of Guides....until I realised I hated it. Actually, it was just Guides I hated, used to love being sixer of the imps in brownies! :D
