It doesn't always show up as new anyway which doesn't always help.

I think it might be one of the bugs. Like if you sit there doing f- all for a while (but before it logs you out), then click something, it marks everythingas read. And if you refresh the page all the CSS coding comes up at the top and isn't actually applied to the page styles (in MSIE 6 anyway.)

Following an overwhelming lack of clear support for anyone during the nomination phase, and continuing lack of support during the voting phase I have decided that I will moderate the board. For those occasions when I will be absent for extended periods of time, Sam will become guest moderator.

Only just noticed this. I thiught Sam won the vote by about 20-2. I would hardly call that a 'lack of support'.

oh dear, another regular person who doesnt look at the annoucements on regular basis...

I read anything that has an orange piece of paper next to it, but unfortunately if IE crashes which it does quite a lot, all the topics are marked as read on your return.

The final result wasn't that bad really even if 28 people did vote which wasn't really a lack of response when there isn't that many regular posters.

It didn't show up for me either, I just looked by chance, I think its because the post was just edited to show the update instead of actually being a new post.
