+ all your current debts are erased (including SLC loans for now though the government wants to change this)
+ you can spend your income on whatever you want
+ you get to give a one finger sign to the corporate world

- you will not get credit from anyone for probably at least 5 years
- you may have trouble getting a job
- you feel like a failure
- loads of forms you have to fill out all have the question 'have you ever been declared banktrupt?' and you will have to answer yes

course wise its excellent and exactly what i wanted, but other than that it sucks balls along with the rest of leicester

I had a great time at DMU - if you want a good night out start off at The Soar Point, before heading off to either the Fan Club or Alcatraz (it's called something else now though, but it's next door) before staggering to Mario's for a tray mix. Top laughs!

Oh, and don't declare yourself bankrupt, it's a * stupid idea.

The only thing that I wish for for 10 years time is to still be with my girlfriend... Maybe married! I'll be 26 going on 27... Aahh :?

Other than that, as people have said... Things change and I can't predict my future!

I was going to go to DMU when I left school, but I pulled out and got a job instead.

Agreed though Morals, Soar Point is a great pub and Fan Club is simply the best nightclub in the world IMO. Never been to Alcatraz, but it's called Oxygen now.

Oh yeah, you might be interested to know that Mario's recently extended and it's now got a restaurant next door.

I'll probably be out in Leicester this weekend with my brother and Thomas Pepys. We'll probably go to Zanzibar or Creation though :x

Loads of my mates worked at the Soar Point when I lived there (Leicester, not the pub) so we used to get away with all sorts of mayhem... Another great pub is (or was) the Fullback and Firkin up the road from DMSU - a girl called Becky used to work there and she was the nicest barmaid in the world. Oh, and she was pretty fit too! ;)

I must admit I'd forgotten about TJ's - me and my mate had to get the owners to let us out their back entrance once because there were a load of twats outside the front who were trying to bash our faces in... Happy days. I've still got my lifetime membership to Osbornes snooker club - it was the princley sum of £3!

I know this, but my brother and his mate Malcolm the Megastar always go to creation or zanzibar. I'd much rather go to fan club but Tom 'Malcolm the Megastar' Evans-Pepys doesn't like fan club. Besides that, as you've probably gathered Thomas Pepys is a bit of a weirdo, so Zanzibar and Creation are about the only clubs he can get into.
