Eastenders will have each episode shown a day ahead of BBC 1 for the first few months and the new series of 24 will be shown a week in advance of BBC 2.

If you watch the adverts for BBC3, there is a semi naked girl dancing with some stars covering her *coughs* you know, things. Anyway is BBC3 going have soft core porn?

bbc3 is just recycled bbc choice

its not going to be any different

why didnt they just leave it at bbc choice and promote all the new programmes on it? i would have much more respect for it if it did that but its just promoting the channel as 'the next big thing' and its going to be disappointing

its all to do with bbc attempting to provide more services across a larger demographic once the digital boom kicks in.

dom joly's show is supposed to be a poor man's larry saunders but worth a watch

the rock profile geezers show is supposed to be a very strange and unique sketch show.

jonny vaughn's show is hopefully being revamped. BBC are currently wasting the talents of the best live presenter there has been i recent times.

Patrick Kielty is good, its just hes had to be sanitized down for the dull BBC. When he was here doing the local shows he was great. Mark Lamarr slagged him off today so theres another one on his hitlist.

who does the version of Three's A Magic Number for the trails? I know De La Soul did the version we all know (don't know if it was the originial, doubt it.)

no it wasnt the original. Havent seen the advert but i know Embrace did a cover of it. Bob Dorough did the original in the 60's.

I think the Embrace version is the one I am looking for.

I seem to remember them doing this in the Live Lounge ages ago.

Thanks

personally i resent the waste of license payers money on all these extra cack channels i cannot nor wish to receive. i can't wait for the day when the license is abolished

im all for the licence fee because its quite cheap an saves wear on the video fast forwarding the adverts. i think the bbc does a good job but what gets me is all this rubbish about money not being made through licence payers but through commercial ways. what i want to know is how did they start with these activities anyway?... with licence money?

by the way tim westwood does audley harrisons entrance it was going so well till... "from the brentford(?) leisure centre"

Personally I think they spend the liscense fee well... but then again I have Sky Digital and I can get all these channels.

I am going to buy a freeview box for my bedroom - but that is just so i can listen to 6 music all the time.

i think the BBC does a good job on a lot of things, however being a liberal i resent the fact that i have to pay them to be 'allowed' to watch television. they should just convert it into a subscription system, where everyone who has a tv license now is automatically subscribed but can opt out if they want. and £10 / month isn't that cheap for me :/

So - anyone watch BBC Three? What do you think of it?

I think it's good. Johnny Vaughen is hilarious (bring back BB)

Cant wait to get freeview for my bedroom now. Currently I have to watch BBC Three in my sitting room and I cant be arsed with that :P

Shows are up, and Friday platinum: https://archi[…]
