I've set up a technical help forum on the TICOC message board so if anyone has any techie questions you can ask them there.

I have a tech problem so I'll just ignore all of that and ask anyway...

The past week everytime I come onto the message board I get an explorer illegal operation. It happens on other sites too but mainly on here. Anyone else having problems or is it just my reject of a computer?

What version Browser have you got if its 5.5 then the cipher strength may be the cause. if so try downloading again or try any other version.

Thanks for all the advice. I did a scan disk and a defrag this morning and so far everything seems to be running ok....

I'd have thought it's unlikely to be an avatar. Have you tried using a different browser or reinstalling your existing browser?

I'm using MSN Explorer instead and it seems to be ok so far.

I just use the Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (I think that's it).
Everything seems to work fine using that!

Thats what I've got, if you have MSN Explorer, I think you should also have MSIE 6, try it.

i have formally left Netscape after its Java pissed me off.

Netscape is hateful anyway. If you really want to try something other than IE, Opera is a very capable little browser

Netscape is crap too. I have to say, I reckon MSIE is the best browser around now.

I had to rely on netscape once when IE (and all IE programs) banned me from using the net. Reformated my hard drive after 10 minutes.
