Quite an interesting story. I had to give evidence in court on Tuesday.

Yeah, but you have to remember that this man could have been anyone. He didn't introduce himself as a policeman and Steven thought he was being mugged.

Yeah, and what really pisses me off is the amount of time and money that has been wasted on this case. The trial was supposed to go ahead in November, but the trial was adjourned until Feburary because the court was triple booked. Now my brother is applying for compensation which will also cost the taxpayer, but it could have all been avoided if the police had behaved properly.

Also it scares me how the Police can stand up in the court and lie through their teeth. Sergant Lambert claimed he introduced himself properly and showed his police ID, but if he had have done that then Steven wouldn't have reacted in that way would he? How many innocent people have been falsely convicted because the police have lied under oath in court?

Unfortunately its a fact of life, most coppers IMO are more bent than a 9p coin and a lot of them deserve to do more time than the cons they put away.

I myself have not got into too much trouble with the coppers considering, yet, however I know a lot of people who have.
