i paid £2.40 for a pint of stella tonight. I can't be arsed with this i'm moving up north.

Tell me about it Stevo. All the pubs in bosworth have put Stella up to £2.45. We reckon there's some sort of price fixing scandal going on.

Actually, to be fair, Wetherspoons (cheapest pubs in the South) had a January sale on last month (would you believe) - a pint of Carling was £1.39 I think.

And anyway Gaspode, would you prefer a cheap pub full of twats or a slightly more expensive pub where you enjoy the atmosphere? (Important note: I'm not having a go at Northerners, just if you had to choose, one or the other...)

TBH, I'd chose the cheapo one, but I'm skint. All the pubs in my home town are expensive anyway, I'd have to go into Leicester to find a cheap pub such as weatherspoons.
