Sorry Loz but I have to disagree, todays show was sh*te. I do like Rachel and I dunno whether it was her fault but the filling was awful, its about time they put more effort in. These sort of shows are getting more and more frequent. There was once a time where you were more likely to listen to a good show rather than a bad one. This isn't nostaligia, this is the 'can't be arsed anymore' attitude of Chris and Dave. Will gives them a new angle to slant on, and I was saying this earlier to James, he seems like a genuine nice bloke, the kind of the person you could meet and get along with easily.

We have had this before with them. They have times when they are so busy doing other stuff that they dont get the time to sort out features. They need to sort their priorities out me thinks

After listening to Mark and Lard which is highly planned a nice bit of random nonsense is nice I like the show as it is at the moment and like always I still like Will and am glad he is on the show and wouldn't like it if he went.

This seems to have been going on for a few months now. The week after they came back after Christmas was a lot better but then its gone back to how it was. The just seem really bored and have run out of ideas.

I think it would have been better to get Lizzie to fill in for the week, and Melinda to fill in for Aled today, maybe that would have brought back some of the energy.

listener phone in competitions are crap when only the person phoning in gets enjoyment. Like the quizes radio 1 set sometimes like "Win tickets to see Craig David."

Unlike quizes like Viaduct or True Or False which were actually funny and the caller never actually won anything.

I agree with Nablo that the 'randomness' of the show is great, but that needs effort aswell. Last week, the yelling at Aled and then the spider thing was great, but only cos they bothered to get excited and make it entertaining. I love the 'down the pub' style, I always have, but down the pub you wouldn't make a huge fuss about a spider like that, you would have a giggle and thats it, the team work to make it entertaining. Today they did that link about doughnuts just before 4:30, and if they bothered it could have been funny, but it was just Chris and Dave talking like they were off air. As much as they like to say this is always the case, I refuse to believe it is. They have to think and make the effort to keep the bantar going. This probably only makes sense in my head, but I know what I mean.
