those "Human shields" who went to Iraq in that big red bus are coming home as its "too dangerous" to stay there as the Iraq authorities cant gurantee them hospital use and other such safety needs

I was called sick and cynical when 9/11 happened. It was great television, and when you become a journailist you have to be objective balanced and fair. If an earthquake in Bangladesh happens and a hundred die- no one wants to know. However if it is 100 killed by fire in Bangladesh then its likely to be topo story in news.

It's called News Values

its also relative to yourself. if a bloke down the street dies you are more affected. its like when they say how many britains dies when a plane crashes as if they are more important...

i think bob and hoare have some sort of discussion group about men and motors... or that's how it seems.

i think most journalism is a little too hokey, what with the trying to make it local bull and all. i know it seesm stupid if there is some huge disaster and the local news focuses on one person who happened to go to school in the area some 20 beforehand. that's not news.

its not use, tho from looking around there is a shopping hour on tantalise where they try and sell sex stuff, highly amusing. Imagine QVC but with 2 slappers saying incredible every 5 seconds.
Bravo usually has like a half hour going behind the scenes of porn or something i think. There was a programme on it called Maximum Exposure. I was dissapointed to find this was a hidden camera show with clips of like cooks spitting in soup etc.

Shows are up, and Friday platinum: https://archi[…]
