I still don't mind the jokes once it is out, but I do think its well out of order that he should be named before he is convicted; the damage is done whether the jokes are said or not, they just put a more light-hearted edge to it.

I agree with Topher, look at say, Craig Charles - he was accused of rape and nearly lost his career over it, even though he was found not guilty, but the woman who accused him was protected by law so she couldn't be named. I reckon the same should be true of the accused until found guilty.

I only found that Craig Charles thing out the other week when Nablo told me. And I've decided that you are right, because it automatically gave me a lower opinion of a man I really liked, whether thats fair or not. But at the same time rapes such a delicate issue, and the trials are torture all over again to the women who are brave enough to enjure them. I think crying rape is the lowest thing someone can do, its so cruel.
