i think it also depends on when people are posting. i know that i tend to post more when there are other people posting at the same time (and i can respond to their posts), yet i don't post as much when you are all sleeping and i'm the only one reading the board. sorta like last night.

I have only ever managed 20 a day, i dont see how people can post more than 50.
it all just crappy jokes and double entendres.

i think its a good idea. at the end of the day 100 is a lot of posts... and if people dont like the limit, then they will either a) stop posting, or b) go elsewhere....

50 is a reasonable daily post target.

I had a 40 a day habit, and thanks to Girlfriend patches and New Coursework gum and lozenges i've mangaed to control my habit

Which means an average of only 44 posts per day, even for the busiest poster. It's just some people didn't spread them evenly.

From this you can assume that a limit of 100 (which is where it will stay for now) will not effect anyone. Except people in the midst of post-sprees.

I think you've got it spot on actually...Generally I only post on Mon Tue and Wed, so it'll slow me down and be a bit more even...Good Job Chris!

i agree with your point but what annoys me is how people moan about the whole board being rubbish but make no attempt to take the lead an create threads they consider interesting. this isnt just one person but a few ive noticed over the last few weeks/months/years...
