Am I the only one who can't make out anything in those pictures? It's a very clever thing to do because no-one would be expecting something like that, and its far more believable than an alien invasion or something. But he said the date he would reveal it would be significant - why? Did I miss that bit? Sorry - not convinced.

i could just make out that there is a blue blob in the middle of a black blob all surrounded by some girders and stuff with that huge long ramp coming out the front of it.

all the girderwork is surrounding a deep man made cave and the blue blob is the front end of a large, nay, huge submarine type vessel. supposedly.

but how could he have worked all that out just from looking at those pictures? admittedly its getting more believable but i'm still not convinced.

Do you know what I think it is? I think it may be a worldwide campaign to make people think about global warming. We all know that if somethings not done this sort of thing could happen, and this is the kind of drastic publicity which would make people sit up and take notice. Look at this:

But what could cause this? A Meteor strike? A pole shift? An earth-crust displacement? The Earth tilting on its axis? An alien invasion? A massive solar flare? The near passing of another celestial body such as planet X? Or… could it be something as simple as the stupidity of Man - the polluting of the world by our unrelenting consumption of the planets resources, the burning of fossil fuels, the felling of endless forests, the putrefying of our oceans and the depletion of the ozone layer?

I believe that if we all pull together as ONE humanity, we can overcome all of these problems. But we must have the desire and the will to achieve it. It is our children, the future generations that must be educated to understand that we can create the future that we so desire. We do not have to condemn ourselves to self destruction. But we must take action NOW.

I'm probably wrong but it's just a theory of mine. Sorry if this gives away what it was to people, but I dunno why someone would be bothered about knowing.

Not long to see what the next part of this story is. You can make things out in photos and with his discribtion it becomes more clear.

<GSCE DRAMA COURSEWORK VOICE>It got more tedious and used tried and tested crap movie conventions to create excitement, cliches such as escaping buliding by tricking people in elevators and stairs. </GSCE DRAMA COURSEWORK VOICE>

I've just read the whole thing, as I've only glanced at it before.

Do you get FTP programs in internet cafes? I didn't think you would. I notice that he's mentioned a wife that he had and also this:
It is imperative that all people, not just those open to alternative views, are made aware of this event. Particularly the younger generation who represent the very future and survival of our world.

Indicates that he wants to portray himself as someone a fair bit older, as if it was someone younger then it would sound more like a hoax.

This bears a remarkable resemblance to this:

I would guess that he has access to an image exactly like that, instead of recreating an almost exact likeness. Also, I didn't think you would get graphics programs in an internet cafe either...

the undistorted photos on the mountainsub site are clearly faked. and why would we need a special ship if the caps melted? there are already hundreds of ships big enough to support thousands of people each. and it wouldn't need to be launched in a special way, the melting of the caps would just raise the sea level and any ships currently afloat with it

I think it's a warning that a new breed of huge killer anteater has escaped a top-secret lab and is currently roaming around the mountains of Peru

yeah when i got to that bit i started to think, its just a clever way of making a lot of people aware of the damage which could be done if we dont start doing more about global warming.

But did you go to that link mountainsub.com or something - If you e-mail them guessing what it is promoting, they claim it will give you a prize. It's all very strange indeed.

That new date was now four days ago - and it's all an extravagant PR campaign for some novel. I think I'll wait and see if they make a film about it...

That was lame. So much hype for one book, but I guess it's good to lead people on then they in turn will read that book.

Good to know, thanks!
