Schmacher is a god I think you will find Topher :P although i am quite a fan of Jenson too.

I think the new rules have made the competition much more exciting and they needed to do something as it was begining to get boring and predictable to watch.

The Autosport site is cool

Tha will change by the end of the season as such things as Launch Control is going. As well as other car-to pit technology thay they can change.

I hate the whole Ferrari team with the exception of Rubens. Sorry but Ross Brawn is the biggest most arrogant bastard in the business.

Yeah, but if you put a bad driver in a Ferrari he still ain't gonna win, which is why they shell out so much for Shumey.

Eddie Irvine did well enough for Ferrari and he wasnt allowed to overtake Schumacher.

Silverstone last year was brilliant.
That one was a good opener to the season. Shame about Jordan though

The 99 Season was my favourite of all time, it was because the championship was open to a good few people....and the season was highlighted by the fct Schumacher broke his leg

That shouldn't be allowed this year though, we'll have to see how that pans out. Irvine was a bit greedy this year though, held out for too much money.

The race at Spa... Briliant!

Was that when there was a huge pile-up on the first corner and nearly everyone was involved?

Actually, I don't think Schumacher broke his leg at Spa, I should have been more precise. Damon Hill's last race win.

I've been a fan since mid '90's and that was one of the best races I've seen. I don't think the new rules was the main factor in the race, It was the choice of tyres in the begining and the damp track. It was fantastic to see both the Ferraris in such a state, but they are going to be stronger than ever when they get the 2003 car in action, so this race could be a one off :( Glad I watched it live, but now I'm knackered.

the sad truth is i'd rather watch a poor fa cup tie between watford an burnley than see that square jawed monkey win...

without the new rules most drivers would have started on slicks

Was ace, would have been even better if someone hadn't told me the result before hand! :P Was really interesting to watch, though I have to admit I agree with Sidla about last year, I find something fascinating about watching MS lap everybody with the greatest of ease. I feel kinda sorry for him, he knows everybodies really pleased he didn't win and want to see him do badly. He's just doing what he gets paid a good damn fortune to do.

it was quite funny when they asked him if losing those boards make a difference to the car and he said it didn't make it go faster :)

For the record Schumacher broke his leg at Silverstone in 99.

Damon Hill won at Spa in 98 the same race as the huge pileup to which the only team that suffered no damage at all in the crash was the Jordan team.

They do ask the most stupid questions. I remember when Hakkinen won a race and absolutely caned everyone and in the post-race press conference the guy asked him if he could have done any more. He was like "Yeah, stop and make coffee."
Ickle Penguin wrote:Lol thats it chief. I have psychic powers and i know when michael the god is going to win and when his car is going to fall apart

I Find that phrase deeply disturbing.

I watched the race at 2 and forgot it was in Oz and not live, so I decided to look on teletext in one of the ad breaks to see which lap they were on ('cos they do a lap by lap summary thing) and then saw David Coulthard had won. Bollocks.

I'm with Gaspode, can't bloody stand him either. I used to like Jean Alesi 'cos he was exciting to watch, always on top of the car.
