Sorry, I meant Adam, don't knwo why I said Bob. Yoru new Golf shoudln't cost anywhere near £3000 top insure, at your age etc etc you coudl easily get it for about a grand to a grand and a half....no problmes!

Learn to drive. It's great. If you're a student then fair enough, but when you finish uni learn to drive and get a car. Driving's the best feeling in the world.

assuming he has had no altercations with the law. that 21 thing is a myth mine didnt reduce dramatically. i would have had to pay bout £700 fully comp this year if i hadnt got it free...

I seriously need a license, fed up with my bike now. Driving is good, but getting drunk is better, which is why I'm getting my priorities straight when I do pass, I'll be getting a cab on a night out, 'cos I hate Coke.

You obviously havn't been reading many of posts, or you would have reached that conclusion on day 1.

It does, it's great! I used to love driving, I used to go on random driving trips at the weekend just for something to do. I had to sell my car when I came to uni. :cry:

Ad, it doesn't matter if you're not paying, whoever is could be paying about half what they are and if that's half of £3000 like you say it is then that's a load of cash each year!
