Comodores were rubbish Lewis. I still have at least 2 speccy's, and a shed load of games. Manic Miner was the greatest game ever created

I used to have (and may still have somewhere) the old atari (we're talking pre-2600 here) with the lovely brown faux-wood pannelling that took the chunky black cartridges

I had the 128K+, the +2 and the +3. I (think I) can still remember speccy basic too...
Code: Select all10 LET a = 1
20 LET b = 1
30 LET c = 1
40 FOR d = 1 TO 70
50 CIRCLE a,b,c
60 LET a = a + 1
70 LET b = b  + 1
80 LET c = c + 1
90 NEXT

Anyway, now I've bored everyone to death I'll mention one of the greatest games ever - Horace goes skiing. Hours of fun for all the family!

Ah, the ZX81 - no proper keyboard, no space bar (why the hell did they stick space in the bottom right corner anyway?) and that's about it.

I still love the fact it came with 1K of RAM (you could expand but hey, why would you EVER need 16K of RAM unless you were a rocket scientist?)!

That game used to bug the hell out of me. I could never get accross the road and even when I did I always crashed into a tree straight away.

I remember on superkaylo.com (R.I.P) they did a spoof advert for Horace goes culling, which basically placed Horace with a small baby seal and a large club. I laughed my arse off when I saw that...

Without doubt the greatest game was Golden Axe- bit of a Lord of the rings rip off but nothing beat the pleasure of kicking those irritating gift baring characters at the end of the level. Also Paperboy on the 128K with the seperate tape for the music-brilliant
