Avatars should be no bigger than 100 x 100 and less than 30kb.

If you don't understand what that means, see the example:

There's an amnesty until Sunday night, after which people with non-compliant avatars will have their ability to display them removed.
Please check yours now.

All the ones that I've found are unreadable if they are under 100px wide. I might have to go back to my Garfield one for a while till I fond one that complies then...
