I'm not bothered about the Saturday morning show since I'm never awake to hear it.

I am pleased that we're getting a decent presenter back on the old Evening Session slot though :D

I heard a bit of it, I thought it was OK. Better than Theakston (but that wasn't hard) but not as good as Mills, sorry David.

Yes, thats right I was up early enough to hear it, shock.

Not out last night then?

Yeah I was, thats the shock. I went straight out for a few pints in spoons after work, then cab home to get changed, cab back to the city, queing outside Revolutions (very good, Russian Vodka bar), got ID'd, realised I'd forgotten my license, showed them my fake proof of age ID for 21 (which they didn't accept), cab back home to get ID, cab back to Revolution.

What a mission, bouncers had a right laugh when I got back with my license, arseholes...

Maybe they were laughing at the fact that you abreviate weatherspoons to spoons, you don't get much more towny than that. On another note, I was in Xscape last night (Where Topher was) one day we're bound to bump into each other, the question is...would we recognise each other?

Has anyone on here actually met up in real life i know there are some groups who knew each other before but im talking random meetings or organised ones.

I always say Spoons. Like I can't be arsed to say "The Coachmakers Arms", to me its the Coach. And Newport Pagnell (to most people a motorway service station like Keele, to me the place I was born) is Skagnell.

I don't think I'd recognise you if I was drunk, seen your pic in the profiles though. You're more likely to have seen Bridgie around I think.

Hasn't been a meeting as long as I've been here I think. The only one I can think of is Lewis and the (now defunct) fellowship. He goes to the same college as them but they didn't know each other before here. Sorry, I'll just speak for them! :)

Yeah, I was well up for that too, not many people were willing to do it though. Then we could have had that drinking competition ninemaster...

Distances, ages, locations, times, days, all sorts of stuff made it just too complicated to organise I think. If you remember that we have people on here from Cornwall to Shetland (not even counting Kendra and everyone in Ireland), alot are under 18 and would find it difficult to travel, especially if they had to stop the night somewhere. Then there are the various people that work all sorts of hours, we'd never get a meeting of everybody on here sorted. Plus some people simply didnt want to.

Good to know, thanks!
