mccartney's sorta crap, sorry but it's true. he's an okay bass player. and it is tough to sing and play at the same time (believe me, it took time for me to learn), but it's not THAT hard.

bass is tough in different ways that guitar, though there are tonnes of crappy bass players that are failed guitar players. you can tell, as they play like a guitar player, only sucky.

i started playing bass when i was 10, and i never really wanted to play guitar. i've since learned, but bass is still my principle instrument. (as can be heard at the knulla roofs' website.
