Caught Viaduct yesterday. I have to agree with Gregs, Its not half as good with the new music bed. the old bottom theme used to really build it up into a comedy theme, The bed used now is too slick and funky and is good but doesn't do anything for the competition. I say, bring back the bottom theme...are you still reading the board Aled? if you are, Listen! Actually, i'm going to Ask a question in the Ask Aled thread on this exact same topic!

James Whale is Moyles in a few years time. Listen to him, and you can tell that Moyles was influenced by him. Whale started at Radio Aire and built a reputation for controversial callers, much before Moyles and Stern were born. Anyone who has heard any of the Moyles "Late Bit" on Crapital will find it very similar.

Brazil and Parry- much funnier than the contrieved Cox.....
Hawkbee and Jacobs - are very funny- were scriptwriters on Fantasy Football- need I say any more...

Plus you have Crispy Boils lover Ian Collins, who still is a bit of an arse, but some of the features are quite funny.

Talk radio as a genre is dire- just listen to any phone in on 5 Live. Talk sport have revcitalised that channel. Talk radio was losing ,market share left right and centre. Now its the independent market leader now.

So don't diss Talksport
