I've just noticed that both David and Giggly start their exams tomorrow, so thought now would be a good time to say good luck to everyone doing exams this summer, cos, ya know, I'm nice like that. Fingers crossed for everybody.

Thanks everyone, :)

Like David, I am fine with English. I enjoy doing the writing bit. I am close to giving up on Maths, two nights cramming for that. Not a good idea really, but I need to learn a lot of it first. Eek.

Well, I get three this week, then thats almost half of them done, yaay. So time to celebrate, 3pm 28th May, not long really.

All the best to everyone doing their exams, I hope you all do really well.

Is 'enjoying the writing part' correct? Surely you'd rather not be doing it.

Same - 3pm on Wednesday 28 May I am freeeeee.

It doesn't bother me, it's the best exam out of a bad bunch. I'd rather do no things and get judged on my prelims, but too late for that.

Actually I hope Timb doesn't do well, 'cos then ultimately he will have to sell his PC for money and won't post any more.

That's harsh.

I've got an exam in 15 minutes. I've done no revision, but it's open book. Should be a piece of piss.

David: You can get somewhere without your grades, you'll just not gonna get somewhere very fast. Surely your the next Chris Moyles of the north... You'll be named ShetIdol of the Year. You can get into Radio with no grades.

Oi tit-phoer: thats a little harsh. give timb a chance otherwise im likely to shove the coke bottle where it hurts..

I got 13/25 in my test BTW, not brill but I'm happy. I'll also repeat what I told Sam, I also just got my Java assignment marked. I got 63% which was superb considering the ammount of effort I put into it. My mate Shaz must have spent at least 10 times longer on his program than I did and he managed to get it working really well, but only got 62%!!! He was gutted I beat him!

Whoever said getting a degree ain't easy?

getting a degree is unfortunately too easy nowadays. the amount of people on my course that don't know how to do the basics of java programming is disgusting. but with university league tables they can't afford to fail all those that deserve it. i'm not saying sidla should fail, but i'm sure he could be motivated to put more effort in ;)

I'm inclined to agree. Why should I put 100% effort in when 1% is enough. That's Hallam for ya.
