The message board server is back in action following the hardware failure. Thanks to the kind folks who provide the board for fixing things for us (you'll notice the machine is faster too).

If anything it seems slower.

Load times are a hell of a lot faster for me than about 2 months ago. Nothing to do with my ISP, they've always been quite fast and reliable...

When did your fellow students return? Was it the 28th of April by any chance? People coming back to uni would explain possibly that everyone was on the net for example. Just a thought

Mayby the new server needed a time to organise which areas need more priority, like disk defrag sorta thing.
