Has one big weeked replaced the one big sundays now? It's a bit of a strange idea considering you have to have tickets to get in AND you can only collect two AND you have to the town, therefore disappointing many people.

get a group of mates together, wait there for a lifetime until the box office opens, make sure your also towards the front and get a load of tickets.

The big belly tour was brilliant.
Ad- might sound simple in thoery, but i would have to find people to go with me on the specific day the tickets go on sale, find the earliest train, find the money to pay for it and then book it and then get back and then have to find a way to get back to leicester for the event. Wold be much simpler if I could just turn up on the day.

There's regular trains to Leicester from Nottingham. It only takes about half an hour. I had a swift walk around Nottingham on Tuesday when I had to change there.

Anyway, the One Big Sundays were cool. I went to both of the Leicester ones. Coldplay were ace the first year. Last years was slightly dull, but still worth a day out. Are they having one in Leicester this year anybody know?

Same here, but I prefered the last one as I didn't get crushed. I think Will accidentaly said there was gonna be a One Big Weekend at Leicester.

Oh and the One Big Weekends are in tents which ruins it as you don't get the festival atmosphere thing.

Victoria Park is the largest park in inner Leicester.

I imagine if anything was to be held i n lesta that where it would be.

I don't think that's true. There's Abbey park, Western Park and Braunstone park which are all bigger than Victoria park.

Katy's right, getting tickets for these things are a pain. I was desprete to go to Manchester but it would have cost £30 on the train just to try and get tickets, then the same again on the actual day. So much for free! I might try Leicester if I can get there for tickets.

I dont think victoria park is big enough for a festival, it not secure enough either, they would have to do it at a more secure place with less entrances.

to answer your question: its only one big sunday in leicester - so there wont be tickets for that one.

One Big Sunday is back at leicester and is happening on 20th july.
