i've been eating curry in tins for a while and got to thinking how to actually make one myself. I dont really want to read recipe books cos they always seem overly complicated. just trying to figure out like the bare minimum. then i can make it myself from then on.
i tried a chicken curry i found on the net. Was ok. except there's definately a typo in it. 5 tablespoons of tomato puree was way too much. it was more like tomato curry.
it was basically
chicken
spices that made curry paste
+
onions
tomatoes
chicken stock
tomato puree.
+natural yog to thicken
obviously chicken and spices are required (i dont like other meat)
do curries always have onions & stock and tomato in?
any thoughts?
