i met someone from Orkney before and i thought she sounded welsh. they must all sound like that. its very broad.

David said somewhere before that. Cameron has quite a strong Orcadian accent, most of the people that have been brought up there do. And it sounds very similar to Welsh people. Us up here speak different, well proper Shetlanders do.
