and how can you live without bacon.

Even veggie bacon is lame, it tastes like cardboard. Bacon butties in the morning are the only thing i will miss about college

actually, i had a blt with fake bacon recently and it was quite edible. even my mom agreed that it tasted like normal bacon in the context of the sandwich. on it's own it's mank.

i had black pudding today and some vegatable roll (which has bits of scallion thru the meat to compensate the lack of veg in its name.
i think its a bit hypocritical to have substitute "burgers" made from soya. If youre going veggie you should just eat veg.

oh food chain from my biology first year

jacko's not a celebrity, he's a freak. and if uri geller is indeed vegan, he gives vegans a bad name. but then again so does every other famous vegan, but myself. I ROCK!

I'd have to argue otherwise I'm afraid. I am a veggie, yes I do like the taste of meat however I choose not to eat it on ethical grounds. I dont eat a tremendous amount of substitute 'fake stuff' being a bit of a whizz in the kitchen I can come up with far more interesting meals myself.

That said, you cant beat those Baco bits that you sprinkle on yer salad, mmm mmm :P

you know, those baco bits are vegan!

and diffusionuk's got it right on. my diet rarely uses "fake" meat as o can cook around it and most of it tastes like butt anyhow, but at times it's fun to make fake tostadas or people buy it for me (at the wedding this weekend there were fake deli cuts and fake cheese for the veggies to eat.

and by bob's logic if you're a meat eater, you should just eat meat (and then wait for your colon to grow massive tumours!).

i want cool shoes!

Looks like I'm using bob's logic. I did a healthy fry up the other day (sort of) I fried it all in olive oil instead of sunflower oil.

I might start eating more healthily now, trouble is I don't like too much healthy stuff.

yeah - its a change for everyone. smoking is a drug that some people cant give up. you just have to get thru to the people that smoke that it actually causes you harm. there so ignorant they dont actually realise this.

next you'll be joining a gym.

topher - girls dont like fat. my point: your gonna be a lonely man.

no offence sidla

I know they don't, I'm not actually fat, mainly 'cos I cycle about 16 miles a day to work and back, but that will change when I get a license, so I will join a gym and have to eat like peas and stuff.

peas are mank. my boyfriend loves them, it's a huge stumbling block for us i suppose.

bob, you know that not all food is healthy for you to eat (i'm not talking about fatty stuff and things like that.) humans are the only adult species to still consume dairy, thought it's not very healthy for you. ask ad about it. it's the main reason i went vegan, i was tired of getting sick from milk and cheese. oh and by the way, cheese is very bad for you.

the vegetarian lifestyle can be very healthy, but it also can be extremely unhealthy. i know many people who continue to eat apalling crap, but think it's okay since it's animal free. bah. just live clean and you'll be clean. that's my mantra.

Good to know, thanks!
