I had my gcse English exam today. Normally do pretty well in English. Went in quite confident, but when they started off the exam with 'Ready, Steady Cook' i was a bit curious. What's the reason for him getting an MBE, like you usually do a service for something, good for other sort of thing...Is it that taking unemployed people and training them into chefs thing? I mean just being a chef isn't that special, it's all so glamourized.

He may have done the taking poor kids off the street thing but why-the cynic in me thinks maybe he needed some good publicity. As for the MBE its a mockery these things used to be like golddust but now they give them out to anyone. David Beckham dont get me started on that.
