I believe Bananaman was the result of a drunken dare by some people at the bbc (or one of the itv stations).
I mean please, surely the bet was something like 'you have to come up with the most blatant sex reference cartoon and still get it aired.'

Now this isn't a cartoon but when I was young I remember watching a TV show on Channel 4 it's been bothering me as I can't remember what it was called.
It was about this girl who had this chemical spilt on her from a road accident and she gained weird powers. Like shooting electricity out of her fingers and could turn into a liquid. She always used to wear hats as well...it was an American show anyone have a any idea?

I liked that show, it was on like the equivalent of T4 now I think and I always thought Alex was fit, not ure how old and fit she is now though.

Ooo, I loved Alex Mac. I never really watched cartoons, I remember and liked Dink though. Nothing will ever beat Button Moon. There used to be a program with these two green trolls in, they lived down a well I think in a garden. Think it was ITV, any idea what it was anybody? It wasn't a cartoon, was similar to fraggle rock in that kind of sense.
