I know that, people ask and I just know it through bumbling about. Get her an e mail address, teach her how to use it, to send and receive e-mails..if she likes communications, show her msn mess. I taught my mum how to use ebay, but it isn't exactly challenging.

i remember 1998, that was my first time surfing the net, it was just logging in chatrooms as part of the youth club and it was funny chatting to people at the time. at my work theres old people who havent a clue how to work a computer and the net and they have like 15 windows open (no exaggeration btw) because they are so impatient that the thing doesnt come up automatically there and then for them.

Even with broadband I still open a bunch of windows 'cause I'm impatient. I found a browser called Cubis (or something like that) that simulates having 6 windows open, shaped like a cube and you're inside the cube. If you zoom out you can view 5 windows at a time.
Trouble was I got dizzy as it rotated
