Most places I applied to didn't ask for that, just Council, I think you've worked for you're council too long.

I did once get an application form for a council job but didn't send it off as I got another job. I'd like to avoid working for councils if possible.

Say things like you're willing to do all the little boring horrible jobs if it means you can have some cash to socialise with.
Don't be hostile, but be blatantly honest.
If they don't hire you then you probably wouldn't want to work with them anyway.

In case you were wondering what (there is no) spoon was referring too....

yeah after all that, after they had told me that i needed a CV, they didnt even look at it, gave me a form and told me to fill it out. I hate looking for jobs, its tedious (SP?) and boring. i cant wait to get another job, better than where i work, bloody slave labour!

Last time I was job hunting, I sent my CV to a whole bunch of agencies. That just prompted them to send me application forms. Got so tired of writing about my work experience and where I'd been to school etc. Makes it a rlief when you get a job..... until they give you work to do.

Good to know, thanks!
