i know there's a lot of comedy fans on here. just wondering which sketch based show was your favourite and also which particular sketches you liked?

ive been watching not the nine o' clock news loads recently and its fantastic. i think my favourite sketch from them would be "the McEnroe house".

The fast show churned out more popular catchphrases than any other single show in the history of the world.

such as:

''suit you, sir''
''This week, i are be mostly...''
''...which was nice''
''wheres me washboard?''
''ARSE!'' (ok, maybe this one was made more popular by father ted)
''...is much like making love to a beautiful woman''
''scorchio!''

is there any i have missed out?

Baby_Bear wrote:"does she want it sir? does she?"

That comes under 'suits you sir'

Missed 'Someone's sitting there' and 'does my bum look big in this.'

Hary Enfield was great, but then decided to f*ck up Kevin and Perry with that film.
