Before the speccy, I had a Dragon computer. Spent ages typing out code from a book to make games.
Wasn't worth the effort.

class! megadrive was the console i had the most fun on, with the old altered beast, PGA golf, road rash, streets of rage etc etc.....

i personally think the gameplay now isnt as good on the PS2 or the X box, but then i was a lot younger back then so it may have seemed better!

After the dragon, I've always been a PC and Nintendo owners (although haven't bothered getting a Cube). Favorite game was two player Hunt For Red October on the gameboy. Only got to play a few times so am probably not remembering it right.
Best game on my first pc was DigDug.

I've still got a speccy. I've been messing about with emulation recently. You can download probably every single game ever made for the spectrum from http://www.worldofspectrum.org and X128 is probably the best emulator out there.
