That could be one of a number of things then. Silicone sealant, glue, stuff like that. Polyfilla is used to fill holes but haven't seen it in mastick gun tubes before...

Only one I know was from a film, but I liked it. The Dentist, he caught his wife cheating so pulled out all her teeth and replaced them with glass. low budget horror at it's best.
