Yes, you're probably right, but not because they're not doing well, they will play big stadiums and sell millions of records until they decide to call it a day. when you have been around for 20 years you have kind of already made it!
I will admit that I like Bon Jovi but can't say I've been impressed with the newer stuff. The older back catalogue has some classic songs in that are great.
Unfortunately Bon Jovi moving with the times means no more bangers like Keep the Faith and Living on a Prayer, they are now just making pop chart music as are Aerosmith nowadays. The reason all the Bon Jovi fans were all young is because the older fans don't like the poppy new music or Jon Bon Jovis orange face. Bon Jovi will always be known as the poor mans U2.
they do sound very similar a lot of their songs though. not that they arent fandabbydosy. anyone see meatloafs new song on patrick kielty? one day he'll get the bat out of hell tune out of his head i hope.
Here's to those who bore us and made us what we are
His new record ends the corus with "..........and you say nothing at all" which is remarkably similar to Mr Loafs "you say it best when you say nothing at all"
