british comedy is faltering because you don't have the teams of writers crap shows like friends do. take the good joke from 30 people, you'll get a decent episode. in theory.

Nah, the reason why Britsh Comedy is falling on its arse is because we are following the AMerican model.

Galton and Simpson, Clement and La Frenais, John Sullivan, Richard Curtis

All wrote hit comedy by them selves

why do we need to copy america? different styles..... im with hoare. most comedys you hear of they always say no one laughed at it at first but someone took a chance.

he recently tried to make some cash with reviving rutland weekend television. this of course failed in the states as it did in the 70s. whilst i may like seeing british bumpkins, most americans don't. he also did a one man show where he flogged old python material to death a few years back- twas sad indeed.

his face is currently melting somewhere near la.
