Is it me or does every single volvo car have there lights on during the day even when its sunny???
I work for tesco.com driving and it really annoys me, believe me next time you go out on the road you will see it!!!!

its because of the country they are made in (sweden i think). where for some periods in the year, its dark for about 20 hours a day. this is a safety feature they developed so ppl dont crash. they come on automatically and i dont think you can override it

in scandinavian countries its against the law to drive at all without the lights on. Even during the day. I think its also due to the fact there are a lot of tunnels in those countries.

day time running lights are a good idea and common in many newer cars. my boyfriend's car, a 2002 chevy cavillier, has 'em too. whoo!

you need like the registration number an the firm an everything for those am i a good driver numbers. imagine writing those down while you are driving? "and the driver was especially nice when i ran in the back of him while taking down this number"

The more modern volvos don't carry the feature. I do belive that Volvo garages can actually fit a switch to turn the lights off now.
