The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

is this the section where you write about your interests and hobbies? if so just make stuff up.

I am very interested in (something related to course subject). I also enjoy reading (some book genre) and regularly play (some sport).

and pad it out with some things that are true.

Thanks for that advice, I was getting a bit stressed so that's why I posted this but when I actually got down to it it was quite easy!

What you suggested is basically what I've done but it'll be checked by parents, tutor etc. so I'd imagine it'll get better over time!

Thanks again,
Stephen.

* hell Mcqueen what have I ever done to you?

Every post I make you come back with some sort of witty or bitchy comment!
I really have no idea what I've done :?:

Nah, McQueen knocks you back to earth with a thud, it's like a dose of reality, I'm sure I'll get the same after this.

So umm, spell correctly and make yourself sound indispensable.

Do i really Stephen? I didn't notice that, you'll have to show me some examples. Quite a compliment that you find some of my posts witty though.

No need to throw a paddy though you girl.

Yep, almost every thread we are both in there are some sort of "you are shit" comments (obviously not all saying that but you get what I'm saying!)

I'll find you some examples if you really want but for starters there was my website thread

Like little babies have.

And yeh examples would be good.

And about the website thread:
Stephen. wrote:I want to know what y'all think of it!
If you think it's sh*t then tell me why, but also tell me if you like any of it!

I gave you my honest opinion on it, which i thought was constructive critisism. If i repeated some of the comments from the chat room which some other members said about it then i expect you would be offended.

personal statements are harsh... how can people judge what kind of p[ersohn you are on a side of A4?

at the end of the day - come clearing they want you there

say you do a lot of charity work and make up that you were in a sponsored swimathon and a charity concert in which you played instrument/sang vocals. charity work always gets them every time.

As someone who works in Higher (and further) Education and occasionally gets to read these things, they should ideally have some sort of tie in with your studies if possible.

If your extra curricular (i.e. freetime) activities in someway relate to or complement the studies you intend to do it really does improve your chances.

Good to know, thanks!
