Just watched some Big Brother Last night at about 1 in the morning.
It is the biggest pile of cr*p I have ever seen in my life.
As I was watching it, this girl started taking her shirt off to get dressed and I thought, "hello, here we go, this is a good show", but the second she took her shirt off, they switched to an outside camera and then went to commercials.
This is done so that they can sell the uncut version once it is all over.
I think the first one was interesting but from then on, all the people in house are just putting in a show because they know how popular it is around the country.
It is just a glorified version of Eastenders which is there to make people feel better about their lives. If watching BB makes us feel better about our lives, then we're in the deep here..
If they want to make a real life show, then why not grab several people from different regions of the world who don't speak the same language and get them to do tasks and see if they can actually communicate with each other and form some sort of team spirit.. That to me is more interesting, seeing how people from different cultures with no shared culture or languages can interact.
To give you an example of how bad Big Brother can be, I saw Little Brother and one of the news they had scrolling at the bottom was: "Joe and Adam (I made up names) cooked pancakes at 22:45" ... C'mon, this is getting as bad as Sky News Breaking News!
I really do hope that people are not actually watching this show!
